remodel roll-out
DESIGNER + TEAM MANAGER
2014-2019
The infamous and outdated beach hut "porch stores" were in need of a refresh. Based on customer and store associate feedback, top priorities were to make product visible from the mall corridor, brighten the space, and open-up sight lines within the store. (Toning down the music and fragrance was underway as well.) This roll-out began with converting the storefronts, and sales uplifts gained from that phase eventually led to demolishing interior cabinets and partitions, a fresh coat of lighter paint, and an energy-efficient LED lighting strategy.
